Step Up to Maturity

God controls the seasons but we control what we do in them. Salvation is not the finish line: God redeemed us to reign, and He expects us to grow from milk to meat, from childhood to ‘the whole measure of the fullness of Christ’ (Ephesians 4:13). Like Daniel, whose life made a king honour his God, believers are called to be God’s ‘body of evidence’. The way forward is an honest self-assessment, as the prodigal son made, followed by a renewed commitment to the Word, to prayer, and to the Holy Spirit’s help to step up.
