Changing Your World Through Compassion
Every significant encounter with Jesus begins with Him seeing people and being moved with compassion, as with the widow of Nain. Drawing on Ephesians 4:32, Matthew 9:36 and Psalm 145:8, it teaches that biblical compassion is more than pity or sentiment: it is a deep identification with another’s suffering that compels tangible action. Because we are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26) and He is compassionate (Psalm 103:8-14), His people are placed in families, workplaces and communities to bring change.
