Trust and Triumph: Coming to the Lord’s Side

2 Corinthians 2:14; Deuteronomy 20:4: God always leads His people in triumph and goes with them to fight for them. Trust is described as faith that has grown through evidence, as remembering what God has already done builds confidence for greater battles, just as David remembered the lion and the bear before facing Goliath. Turning to Joshua 5:13 to 6:5, it shows Joshua before the impossible walls of Jericho meeting the Commander of the Lord’s army, who came not to take sides but to take over.
